Civils Site Manager – Leading Civil Engineering Contractor (Cork City)
A well-regarded and established civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee a major residential project in Cork City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations, ensuring that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position offers long-term, stable employment with a respected company, known for delivering high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards.
- Lead and supervise site teams, including subcontractors and direct staff.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
- Hold regular site meetings and provide detailed updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager, ideally in civil or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction management, and health & safety regulations.
- Proven experience managing multiple teams and subcontractors efficiently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A full, clean driver’s license.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between €80,000 and €90,000 per annum.
- Long-term, stable position based in Cork City.
