Civils Foreman
A leading utilities & infrastructure contractor is seeking a Civils Foreman to join their team on various projects in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of site crews and ensure works are delivered to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil works, including groundworks, utilities, roads, and drainage.
- Manage direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Monitor site progress, report daily activities, and attend site meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards.
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure works are carried out to plans.
- Liaise with engineers, site management, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain quality control and oversee inspections and testing as required.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Civils Foreman on civils projects in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, road construction, and underground services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Full clean driving licence.
