Civil Water Engineer
Location: Cork or Galway
Civil Water Engineer with 5+ years’ experience required to join an established engineering consultancy in their Cork or Galway offices. The successful Water Engineer will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, with a focus on water and wastewater networks and bridge infrastructure. Projects will include water supply and distribution systems, foul and surface water drainage networks, wastewater infrastructure upgrades and public infrastructure developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Water Engineer to further develop their technical expertise, work alongside experienced senior engineers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Sample Projects:
- Water and wastewater infrastructure – water distribution, sewer rehabilitation, wastewater treatment infrastructure and network capacity upgrades – €10m – €30m.
- Bridge engineering – bridge inspections, structural rehabilitation, strengthening works and improvements to existing transport infrastructure – €10m – €20m.
- Drainage and utilities – foul and surface drainage systems, pipeline infrastructure, flood alleviation and civil works – €5m – €10m
Requirements:
- Civil Water Engineer with 5+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or in a related field.
- Experience in civil infrastructure design, water and wastewater engineering projects
- Familiarity with Irish infrastructure standards, technical design requirements and project delivery process.
