A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing Water Networks team in Dublin, Galway, Cork or Castlebar.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to build their career within Ireland’s expanding water sector while working on major infrastructure and network projects that support communities, sustainability and climate resilience.
The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering water and wastewater projects from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
Projects:
- Water and wastewater network infrastructure projects across Ireland (€5M – €200M+)
- Pumping stations and water storage infrastructure schemes (€2M – €50M+)
- Uisce Éireann framework and capital delivery projects
- Network rehabilitation and upgrade programmes (€10M – €100M+)
- Climate resilience and sustainable water infrastructure projects
- Multidisciplinary environmental and infrastructure projects across Ireland
Role:
- Supporting the design and delivery of water and wastewater network projects
- Producing technical drawings, calculations, specifications and reports
- Assisting with feasibility studies, technical assessments and contract documentation
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and environmental teams
- Supporting project coordination and stakeholder communication
- Contributing to projects across all stages from concept through to construction
- Developing technical capability within the water and infrastructure sector
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience within civil engineering, water or infrastructure projects
- Experience or interest in water network design and infrastructure delivery
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience using industry-standard civil engineering software is advantageous
- Experience working on Irish infrastructure projects is beneficial
Salary & Benefits:
- €40,000 – €50,000 (DOE) + Benefits
