A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing Water team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to take a leading role in the delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland while working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the continued growth of the team.
Projects:
- Water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland (€5M – €200M+)
- Water network and pipeline infrastructure schemes (€10M – €150M+)
- Wastewater treatment and upgrade projects (€20M – €250M+)
- Climate resilience and environmental infrastructure projects
- Public infrastructure frameworks and multidisciplinary utility projects
- Long-term capital delivery programmes within the Irish water sector
Role:
- Leading the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Producing and reviewing technical designs, drawings, calculations and reports
- Managing projects from feasibility through to construction support
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and stakeholders
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Supporting project planning, technical reviews and quality assurance
- Engaging directly with clients and contributing to project meetings and delivery strategy
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 6+ years’ experience within water, wastewater or infrastructure project delivery
- Strong technical experience in water network and infrastructure design
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered status, or working towards chartership, is advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
