A leading international multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing Transportation team across Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to work on high-profile sustainable transport and active travel projects across Ireland while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on nationally significant infrastructure schemes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of transport and urban realm projects from concept through to construction, within a highly collaborative and progressive engineering environment.
Projects:
- Sustainable transportation and active travel projects across Ireland (€2M – €50M+)
- Urban street and public realm improvement schemes (€1M – €25M+)
- Cycling and pedestrian infrastructure projects (€500K – €20M+)
- Multidisciplinary urban infrastructure and placemaking projects (€10M – €150M+)
- Transport and mobility projects from planning through to site delivery (€1M – €75M+)
Role:
- Leading the design and delivery of transportation and active travel projects
- Managing projects through all stages from planning to construction
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
- Supporting client engagement and stakeholder communication
- Contributing to project management, programme delivery and technical reporting
- Supporting the delivery of sustainable mobility and urban design solutions
Requirements:
- Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience within transportation, active travel or urban infrastructure projects
- Strong design and project delivery experience across multidisciplinary projects
- Experience delivering projects through all stages from planning to site delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered status, or working towards chartership, is highly desirable
- Experience working on Irish transportation projects or familiarity with Irish design standards is advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
