We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join a growing multidisciplinary team in Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality construction documentation across a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects.
The Architectural Technologist will play a key role in the preparation and coordination of technical drawings, construction details, planning documentation, working closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and clients throughout all stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Prepare construction drawings including site layouts, foundation plans, drainage, structural and weatherproofing details
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop coordinated design solutions
- Ensure drawings comply with Irish Building Regulations and industry standards
- Update and revise drawings based on project requirements and client feedback
- Carry out surveys of existing buildings
- Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing records.
Requirements
- Qualification in Architectural Technology
- Ideally 5 years+ experience in an architectural practice, engineering consultancy, or similar environment
- Project experience should include residential, commercial, industrial or infrastructure
- Strong experience in architectural detailing and construction documentation
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD desired
- Good knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction practices
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full Irish driving licence is required, along with eligibility to work in Ireland
