Senior Electrical Engineer

An expanding international M&E engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Dublin or Cork. The consultancy delivers innovative, low-energy engineering solutions across the built environment and digital infrastructure sectors, with expertise spanning data centres, industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical and other complex facilities.
The Role:
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design across projects of varying sizes, from building services through to medium-voltage (MV) systems. Responsibilities include managing project teams, overseeing technical quality and cost control, supporting project delivery, implementing new technologies, mentoring engineers and representing the consultancy at client meetings and project sites.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- MIEE, HNC/HND with appropriate experience, or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience with European data centres and mission-critical projects; pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, laboratory and cleanroom experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in relevant electrical design software, including Dialux, Amtech and ETAP.
- Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership, is advantageous.
- Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines and support project cost control, QA/QC and technical reviews.
Eligibility: This role will ideally suit candidates with the right to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
