Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required to join one of Ireland’s leading M&E Design Consultancies with offices across Europe. This role offers opportunities to work on high-profile projects across sectors such as data centres, energy, aviation, education, healthcare, commercial, residential, etc for the public and private sector.
The Role
The successful Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the mechanical design and delivery of major projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, prepare and review technical documentation including specifications and calculations, liaise with clients to ensure project alignment, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership with full CIBSE, IET, or equivalent membership (desirable).
- 6 Years+ Experience in mechanical building services design across various sectors.
- IT Skills – BIM, AutoCAD and Revit.
- Broad industry experience and strong knowledge of building services systems.
- Interest and experience in sustainable design and renewable energy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts.
- Experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
