Civil Technician
Location: Dublin
Civil Technician with 3+ years’ experience required to join an established civil and structural engineering consultancy working on a variety of projects across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. The successful civil technician will assist with the preparation of civil engineering designs, technical drawings and project documentation, working alongside experienced engineers throughout the design and delivery process. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Technician to build on their existing experience and progress their career within a growing consultancy
Sample Projects:
- Residential developments – housing schemes, apartment complexes and associated site infrastructure, including roads, drainage and utility layouts – €10m – €30m.
- Commercial and mixed-use developments – office building and retail units and commercial sites requiring civil engineering design and infrastructure coordination – €15m – €25m.
- Educational and public-sector projects – schools, community facilitates and public buildings incorporating site development, surface water and access arrangements – €10m – €20m.
- Civil infrastructure and site development – road layouts, foul and surface water drainage networks, utility services and external works – €5m – €15m.
Requirements:
- Civil Technician should have 3+ years’ experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or in a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience producing detailed civil engineering drawings.
- Experience assisting with the design and detailing roads, drainage systems, utilities and site development works.
