Structural Engineer
Location: County Dublin
Senior Structural Engineer with 6-10 years’ experience required to join an establish Irish engineering consultancy across residential, commercial and industrial sectors. The Successful Structural Engineer will lead structural design work involving reinforced concrete, structural steelwork and masonry. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, with excellent potential for professional development and career progression.
Sample Projects:
- Multi-story residential apartment developments involving reinforced concrete frames, transfer slabs and foundations – €25M – €35M.
- Commercial office building – steel and concrete framing – €20M – €40M.
- Mixed-Use Development – residential, retail and commercial spaces requiring complex structural layouts and transfer structures – €100M.
Requirements:
- Senior Structural Engineer with 6-10 years’ experience in an engineering consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or in a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership with Engineers Ireland.
- Knowledge of structural analysis and design software, such as Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians.
- Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.
