A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Technician to join its growing Cork office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team delivering a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, education, healthcare and civil infrastructure projects across Ireland. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to projects from initial concept and planning through to detailed design and construction, with excellent opportunities for long-term career progression.

Projects:

  • Large residential developments (€10m–€120m+)
  • Commercial and retail schemes (€5m–€60m)
  • Schools and healthcare facilities (€5m–€50m)
  • Hotels and leisure developments (€8m–€80m)
  • Civil infrastructure and site development projects (€2m–€40m)
  • Renewable and industrial developments (€5m–€75m)

Role:

  • Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Produce road, drainage and site development drawings for a range of infrastructure projects
  • Support engineers with technical design, detailing and project delivery
  • Prepare layouts, technical drawings and construction documentation
  • Liaise with architects, engineers and other project stakeholders throughout the design process
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
  • Contribute to projects from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Civil Technician within an engineering consultancy
  • Strong AutoCAD skills, with Civil 3D experience highly desirable
  • Experience producing drawings for roads, drainage, site development or civil infrastructure projects
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary & Benefits:
