A leading Irish engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their growing Transportation team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer looking to work on some of Ireland’s most high-profile transport infrastructure projects, with exposure to rail, light rail, active travel and major public transport schemes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of complex urban infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, high-quality engineering solutions.
Projects:
- Cork Area Commuter Rail Phase 2 (€200M+)
- Major public transport and active travel schemes across Ireland
- Light rail and urban transport infrastructure projects
- Bus corridor and sustainable mobility projects
- Motorway and national road improvement programmes
- Complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland and the UK
Role:
- Supporting the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects
- Developing engineering solutions for complex urban environments
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders
- Preparing technical reports, drawings and design documentation
- Assisting with design reviews and quality management processes
- Contributing to BIM workflows and digital project delivery
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years’ experience in the design or construction of civil engineering projects
- Knowledge of Irish and UK design standards including TII, DMRB and DMURS
- Experience preparing technical reports and project documentation
- Familiarity with BIM environments and associated workflows
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or OpenRoads is advantageous
Salary & Benefits:
- €55,000 – €65,000 DOE + benefits
