Mechanical Project Engineer
We are hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical building services projects across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and data centre sectors in Dublin. This role will involve coordinating design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mechanical engineering activities from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Prepare and manage coordinated drawings incorporating mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and sprinkler systems.
- Support procurement activities including technical submittals, requisitions, purchase orders, and equipment tracking.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
- Manage RFIs and ensure technical queries are resolved promptly.
- Assist with project reporting, commercial tracking, and value engineering opportunitiess.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline. Senior Trades qualifications will also be considered.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer role with a mechanical contractor.
- Proven experience delivering mechanical installations on commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, commissioning, and project delivery.
- Experience producing technical submittals, conducting technical reviews, and managing project documentation.
- Good commercial awareness with an understanding of project costs, variations, and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
