Quantity Surveyor
A leading Irish construction contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects across Ireland, including controlled environments such as data centres and pharmaceutical facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts from inception through to final account stage.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure commercial performance and cost control.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, including tender analysis and contract negotiations.
- Prepare and submit monthly valuations and ensure timely certification and payment processes.
- Manage and agree project variations, ensuring accurate valuation and documentation.
- Prepare budgets for subcontract works and preliminary costs.
- Conduct detailed contract reviews and ensure full commercial compliance.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation throughout all project stages.
- Liaise with design teams, project managers, and site teams to support project delivery.
- Support risk management and commercial decision-making across projects.
- Contribute to effective cost reporting and financial forecasting.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
- Experience working in Ireland is essential.
- Previous exposure to controlled environments such as data centres or pharmaceutical projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of contract administration and cost management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
