Planning Manager
Planning Manager required for a leading Main Contractor to work out of their Dublin office with Hybrid working available. The successful Planning Manager will be responsible for the planning and programming function across a range of projects. The ideal candidate will have 10 years’ experience in a planning role with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK, with a strong preference for local market experience.
Duties:
- Develop, manage and maintain master programmes across live projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Produce detailed baseline programmes, short-term lookahead programmes and recovery programmes where required
- Monitor and report on project progress against programme at regular intervals
- Identify and communicate delays, risks and mitigation measures to the project and senior management teams
- Prepare and submit extension of time claims and delay analysis in support of the commercial team
- Liaise with clients, design teams and subcontractors on programme matters
- Support the pre-construction and estimating teams with tender programmes and methodology statements
- Attend project and client meetings, presenting programme updates as required
- Drive a culture of programme awareness across site and project teams
Requirements:
- Construction related degree
- 10+ years’ experience as a Planner/Planning Manager with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject
- Must have experience working in Ireland
Benefits:
- Salary circa €110,000 to €125,000 – DOE
