Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure (Dublin)
A well-established, mid-sized civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team delivering civil infrastructure projects across Dublin and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of key projects including roadworks, drainage, utilities, and public realm developments within a growing and reputable organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of civil infrastructure projects from planning to completion
- Manage site teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with specifications
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local authorities
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and manage programme schedules
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
- Review and manage project documentation including drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project management within civil engineering or construction
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, or drainage
- Irish or UK construction experience is essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets
- Full driving licence
