Principal Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience required to join a leading international engineering consultancy in their Dublin office. You will lead the delivery of complex structural engineering projects across the transportation, infrastructure, energy, and marine sectors in Ireland and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects while playing a key role in the growth of a multidisciplinary team.

Role
- Lead and deliver structural engineering assignments from concept through to detailed design
- Undertake structural analysis and design across a range of structures and materials including steel, concrete, composite, fibre and reinforced concrete
- Carry out design reviews, checking of internal and third-party designs, and value engineering exercises
- Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and design documentation
- Mentor and support junior engineers within multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with 10+ years of relevant consultancy experience
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Extensive experience delivering infrastructure, transportation, energy, or marine projects
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design, and construction methodologies
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, programmes, and client relationships
- Experience using structural analysis and finite element software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
