A well-established and respected civils contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a residential project based in West Dublin. This is a long-term opportunity, with the project just beginning and further works planned in the area. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record delivering civils projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site civil works, including groundworks, utilities, roads, and drainage.
- Manage direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
- Monitor site progress, report daily activities, and attend site meetings.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering or infrastructure projects in Ireland.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, road construction, and underground services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
