Senior Façade Engineer required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large-scale commercial build which is starting later this year. Our client will hire the Senior Façade Engineer in advance of this project starting and allow the successful candidate to work on the design of this project s façade elements from head office prior to this project going to site. Our client is looking for a Senior Façade Engineer with experience in the design of building structures and façade to coordinator the façade elements of the project working in conjunction with the project design managers.
Requirements:
- Design Experience
- Previous façade engineering experience on site.
- Glazing experience
- Ensure that the façade sub-contractors are compliant to specification and contract conditions.
- Ability to review the design, quality check installation and oversee fire compartmentation.
- Attend design team meetings.
- Experience of monitoring/ managing the scaffolding.
- Demonstrate understanding of programme, material management and give examples of what they have previously been involved with.
Salary:
- Negotiable depending on the candidate s experience. Circa €70- €80K
