Quantity Surveyor with 5+ years experience required to join leading Irish Engineering consultancy. This consultancy has an excellent reputation for delivering engineering services to a wide range of clients. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work with a team of Resident Engineers. You will collaborate with designers on cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement for a range of public and private works tenders.
Role
- Advise on procurement for civil projects
- Help the Employer’s Representative with finances and contracts
- Track spending, evaluate work, and provide the Employer with a report on financial progress
Requirements:
- Be familiar with the Project Appraisal Guidelines
- 5 years experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor
- A qualification in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Be a member of an appropriate professional organization
- Be familiar with and have experience with current contracting procedures
- Must be well-versed in applicable methods of measurement, such as TII RMP and CESSM4 (or 5)
