M&E Coordinator
M&E Coordinator with more than 5 years of experience required for a highly reputable Main Building Contractor to work on 2 projects that are just starting in the Cork Region. The M&E Coordinator role is well-suited for candidates with prior experience in apartments, housing, offices, or similar sectors. Our client will consider either an Electrical or Mechanical bias
Role:
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of M&E design information during the tender phase to identify and communicate any design deficiencies to the bidding team.
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage the distribution of M&E design data to ensure it is released promptly for construction tasks.
- Verify that M&E information intended for construction has undergone a thorough review by interface designers and the construction team, and that it aligns with the project specifications before being issued for construction.
- Contribute to CDM (Construction, Design, and Management) and Health and Safety considerations.
- Oversee meetings involving the client, design team, and subcontractors.
- Scrutinize project drawings and technical specifications for any inconsistencies or disparities.
Requirements:
- Ideally have a Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working for a contractor.
- Datacentre experience
- Ideally have at least 5 years’ experience in building services coordination in Ireland and the UK.
- Knowledge and experience of Revit/BIM.
Salary & Benefits:
- €75k-€800K, depending on experience.
