Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, is currently recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor for a residential project based in Cork City. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team and play a key role in maintaining and promoting a positive safety culture on site.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and monitoring site-specific health and safety plans
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits
- Ensuring compliance with all current health and safety legislation
- Providing advice and training to site teams on health, safety, and environmental issues
- Investigating incidents and ensuring corrective actions are taken
- Liaising with project and site management teams to promote best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar Health & Safety role
- Relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar)
- Experience in construction or civil engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
