Electrical Supervisor required to join one of Ireland’s largest specialist Data Centre contractors to work on a Data Centre project in Dublin. The successful Electrical Supervisor will report into the Electrical Project Manager.

Duties:

  • Coordinating and Planning of resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors
  • Manage and drive a team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines
  • Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Prepare relevant reports
  • Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Reporting on progress
  • Ensure the quality of work is maintained throughout installation
  • Carry out weekly toolbox talks
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance for direct staff and sub-contractors
  • Regular reviews of working practices to help improve site safety

 

Requirements:

  • An Electrical engineering qualification or an Electrical trade background.
  • 5+ years previous experience in gained within an electrical environment, preferably for a services contractor.
  • Ability to read P&ID’s and AF&ID’s.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory role.
  • Experience working on a Data Centre project would be beneficial.
  • Must have worked for an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK
  • Must be driven and be able to work off their own initiative
  • The successful Electrical Supervisor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and be eligible to work in Ireland without requiring a work permit
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
