Exciting Opportunity for Civil Structural Project Engineer
I am currently working with a top engineering consultancy based in Dublin, with offices in the UK as well. Due to ongoing growth and an expanding workload, they are seeking driven and enthusiastic candidates to join their team in Ireland. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a role of responsibility in our expanding practice. Remote work available (90% remote, 10% in office) – but candidates have to have Irish experience.
Sample projects:
- Opportunity to contribute to landmark regeneration schemes, such as a €20 million riverside development delivering 200+ homes and complex marine groundworks.”
- Projects include involvement in a €146 million urban infrastructure and housing programme, featuring a €26 million site infrastructure package and a 195-unit residential build
- Join a team that has delivered civil and structural solutions on challenging sites, like a €7 million riverfront apartment scheme requiring flood defence-sensitive design and contaminated land mitigation
Requirements
- 3-8 years’ experience in an Irish consultancy.
- Qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering Level 8 or above.
- Membership of a professional body (such as Engineers Ireland) and working towards chartership
- Experience in structural design for construction projects within the Irish construction industry.
- Comfortable with designing in steel, concrete, timber and masonry, Analytical software experience, and assessing existing buildings.
- Experience in preparing calculation packages
- Excellent clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
