Site Manager (Relocate to Canada) – 9157

Exciting relocation opportunity for a Site Manager to join the Building Division of one of Canada’s Largest Main Contractors (Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare and Educational projects in the companies Ontario division, Canada.

Duties:

  • Pre-Construction Management: Creating project schedules, assessing requirements, reviewing contracts, and selecting subcontractors.
  • Construction Management: Overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, managing site logistics, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Post Construction Management: Handling warranty work, closing accounts, addressing deficiencies, and demobilizing the site.
  • Employee and Talent Management: Supervising and developing direct reports, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, and conducting performance assessments.
  • Opportunity Management: Identifying new business opportunities and collaborating on proposals.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline.
  • 10 Years+ in Construction / Site Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK.
  • Solid understanding of construction industry practices.
  • Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards and building practices, including building codes.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • IT Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam and Plan Grid.
  • Available to relocate permanently to Canada within 6 months.

 

Benefits:

  • Salary $175,000 to $220,000 CAD (Circa €120k to €150k)
