Site Manager (Housing):
A highly reputable Main Building Contractor is seeking a Site Manager for a 2-year residential project in Swords, Co. Dublin. The company, with a strong and established reputation in residential construction, offers a stable and long-term employment opportunity. We prefer candidates with proven experience in housing developments, either in Ireland or the UK.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Site Management experience with a main contractor or developer.
- Preference for extensive experience in high-volume housing projects (40 units or more).
- Demonstrated success in overseeing large-scale, high-quality housing projects, either in Ireland or the UK. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, and eligibility to work in Ireland is a requirement.
- Advantageous to have experience in groundworks and site development works.
Role:
- Ensure that works are carried out in compliance with planning, health and safety and environmental standards and to a high quality
- Ensure that tasks are executed in adherence to planning, health and safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a high level of quality.
- Take complete accountability for project outcomes, overseeing the entire process from tender initiation through construction to handover.
- Provide support in managing the project budget, collaborating with the broader team including the quantity surveyor.
- Develop project, program, and risk management plans as part of your responsibilities.
- Oversee the dissemination of information to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners associated with your site. • Efficiently manage the site team, encompassing both direct and indirect staff, to ensure the project adheres to the established timeline.
Salary:
- Basic salary circa €75k- €85k
- Travel Allowance / Company Van
