We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a top-tier Main Building Contractor for a long-term datacentre project in North Dublin. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of groundworks and deep drainage, ensuring the smooth execution of the project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile project and gain valuable experience within the construction industry.
Duties:
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Site Operations Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with company HSQE requirements and standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of work packages to verify the availability of necessary information and permits for safe and efficient execution of the works.
- Oversee daily management, supervision, and reporting of direct labour resources, plant, and material allocations.
- Perform post-construction surveys and compile accurate information to prepare As-Built records. Proactively engage with clients, consultants, the public, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination.
Required:
- A relevant third level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline is desirable but not essential – strong groundworks background is essential
- Supervisory experience of large civils projects / strong groundworks experience
- Location of Underground Services training.
- Signing, Lighting and Guarding training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, within a fast-paced team environment.
- Full Driving License
