A leading civil engineering and utilities contractor is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will involve working on substation civil works projects in Ringsend, Dublin, with a strong on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations for substation civil works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to budget.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors, operatives, and site teams effectively.
- Monitor site progress, prepare reports, and liaise with the Project Director / Construction Manager.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee quality control and ensure works meet design specifications and standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, materials usage, and workforce reports.
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or safety incidents.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflow.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering or utilities projects, ideally including substation or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods and building regulations.
- Proven ability to manage large site teams and multiple subcontractors.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Health & Safety awareness and a strong safety-first mindset.
- Relevant construction or management qualifications desirable.
