A well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee a large residential project based in Cork City. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations on-site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers long-term, stable employment with a respected company renowned for its involvement in high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and supervise site teams, including subcontractors and direct staff.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide detailed progress reports.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager, preferably within civil or residential projects.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction management, and health & safety protocols.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors efficiently.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Full clean driver’s license.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: €80,000 – €90,000 per annum.
