Site Engineer required for a well-established mid-sized Main Building Contractor to work on a residential project in Navan. Our client has a great reputation in the residential sector and has a solid pipeline of projects outside Dublin for the next few years. This an ideal role for the Site Engineer who has strong setting-out experience who wants to take their career to the next level with plenty of mentorship and opportunities to progress.
Requirements:
- 3 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
- Engineering degree qualified
- Worked as a Site Engineer for a main contractor previously with experience managing subbies and other site engineer duties
Duties:
- Setting-out
- Also, subcontractor management
- Site supervision of various trades and contractors
- Maintain strong health and safety standards
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
- Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff
