Site Engineer – Civils & Groundworks Projects (Dublin)
A Site Engineer with 2–5+ years’ experience in civil engineering is required for civils and groundworks projects in Balbriggan and Lucan. The role involves supporting the management and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality construction, adherence to specifications, and effective site coordination. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, on-site environment and enjoys working closely with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Role
- Provide technical and engineering support on-site for civils and groundworks projects.
- Monitor and inspect civil and groundworks activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors and coordinate day-to-day site activities.
- Assist with quality control, testing, and reporting.
- Prepare daily and weekly site reports and progress updates.
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, clients, and design teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support material take-offs, measurements, and site documentation.
- Contribute to planning and scheduling of works to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations, design standards, and project requirements.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland, ideally with civils or groundworks projects.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and site supervision.
- Knowledge of drainage, utilities, concrete, earthworks, and other groundworks activities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Experience with site management or engineering software is advantageous.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

- Salary circa €60k–€70k (depending on experience)
