Site Engineer
A Site Engineer is required for a well-established Main Building Contractor to work on a large-scale building project in Dundalk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a reputable company and play a key role in delivering a high-quality project. The successful candidate will have a solid background working with main contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident managing technical aspects of the site.
Duties:
- Set out the site and carry out accurate surveying work.
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and the Site Manager to ensure smooth progress.
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of construction works.
- Maintain site records and prepare progress reports.
- Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times.
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on building projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
- Good knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent English and eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving licence.
Salary:
- Salary circa €60–70K
