My client, a well established Main Contractor is seeking a Site Engineer for a educational build project in South Dublin. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale projects while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Setting out works and ensuring foremen and operatives understand drawings and specifications.
- Communicate requirements clearly to subcontractors.
- Record daily activities, progress, and site occurrences in the site diary.
- Report on subcontractor work progress to management.
- Conduct work safely and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain setting out instruments and testing equipment.
- Maximise efficiency and minimise rework through accuracy
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Engineering.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in setting out or site engineering.
- Experience with main contractors, subcontractors, or surveying firms preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, or similar software.
