Our client, an established and well-regarded civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Setting Out Engineer for a major residential development based in Carlow. This is a permanent position offering strong long-term prospects with a company known for delivering high-quality work across the civils and residential sectors.
The successful candidate will have previous site engineering or setting out experience, ideally on similar projects, and will be comfortable working with a range of surveying instruments.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out accurate setting out in accordance with project drawings and site specifications

Collaborate with site management to ensure precise construction delivery

Use total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools to establish key site points

Track and verify site levels, structures, and alignments during all phases of work

Keep clear records of setting out and measurements for compliance and quality control
Package Includes:

Salary between €55,000 – €65,000, depending on experience
