About the Role:
Our client, a leading civil contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a project based in Louth. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to advance their career with a reputable company that offers long-term career prospects. The role involves supporting the project’s technical aspects, ensuring the work is completed according to the project specifications and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance on-site to ensure the project is delivered on time and to specification.
- Set out and survey site areas, ensuring accurate measurements and alignment.
- Liaise with site management, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety on-site, reporting any issues to senior management.
- Interpret technical drawings and design information.
- Assist with preparing and reviewing project documentation, including progress reports and inspections.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on construction or civils projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in setting out, surveying, and using engineering software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
