Site Engineer – Leading Civil Engineering Contractor
One of Ireland’s leading civil engineering contractors is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team for a new commercial project based in Laois. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to develop their career with a well-established company known for offering strong career progression and the chance to work on exciting, large-scale civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technical aspects of civil engineering projects from start to finish.
- Assist in supervising site teams, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Setting Out / Surveying
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Help prepare and review technical documentation, including plans, designs, and reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams.
- Monitor project progress and assist in reporting updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in a site engineering role within the civil engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and safety regulations.
- Good communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Full clean driving license.
