Site Engineer
Senior Site Engineer with 2 years’ experience required for a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor to work on a large scale residential project (apartments) in South County Dublin. The successful Site Engineer will carry out various Site Engineering activities – setting out, setting levels, supervising all groundworks and to assist the Site Manager in the day to day running of the project. The role will also include the supervision of direct employees and subcontractors, materials management, quality management, Surveying, Health & safety management, and general administration and document control.
Duties:
- Setting-out
- Technical Support
- Administrative Support: Taking levels, surveying works & keeping records of on-going works carried out by subcontractors.
- Materials Management
- Supervision: Assist Site Management in monitoring and management of site operatives, both direct and subcontractors.
- Quality and Building Control
Requirements
- Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload / excellent time management.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Some previous experience in similar capacity
- Strong IT skills
- Career minded, energetic and enthusiastic.
Salary:
- Starting Salary: €70k– €80k
- Company van / Travel allowance
