A rapidly growing and well-regarded civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer for a large-scale residential project in Wicklow. With a significant pipeline of work in the Wicklow and South Dublin areas, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further their career with an expanding company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring all work complies with the project specifications and safety regulations.
- Setting Out / Sureveying
- Work closely with the site management team to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
- Oversee the execution of works by subcontractors, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience on construction / civil engineering projects.
- Previous experience on large-scale residential projects.
- Strong understanding of site safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate between various teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
