Role Overview:
The Site Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, along with the ability to manage site operations and communicate effectively with the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and advice to the project team.
- Setting out
- Assist with site coordination, including supervising subcontractors and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance metrics.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for site works, managing stock and logistics effectively.
- Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including reports and as-built drawings.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Site Engineer role, ideally within the civil engineering sector.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety standards, and quality control processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
