A leading Tier 1 Building Contractor is seeking a skilled Site Engineer with experience in structural works and setting out for an industrial project in Newbridge. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-3 years of post-graduate experience, particularly on reinforced concrete (RC) frame projects, who are eager to advance their careers with a top-tier contractor managing significant projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate setting-out duties using technical drawings, site surveys, and as-built plans.
- Interpret project layouts, material specifications, and other details from engineering drawings.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel effectively.
- Plan and execute tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Liaise with client representatives and design teams as necessary.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety and quality standards.
- Oversee material procurement and inventory management on-site.
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including diaries, concrete cube logs, and delivery records.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- Proven experience with RC frame construction projects.
- Proficiency in using engineering tools such as Engineers Level & EDM/Total Station.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting project timelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude.
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
- Full, valid driving license.
