A reputable and long-standing civil engineering contractor is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team for a long-term project based in Kildare. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure that all works are completed to the highest standards.
- Conduct surveys, setting out, and levelling the site in accordance with project specifications.
- Monitor site progress, ensuring work is carried out on time, within budget, and in compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with the project team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all site activities, ensuring proper documentation for the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and address any engineering challenges that arise.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience.
- Strong understanding of setting out and surveying techniques.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
