Site Clerk
A leading Main Contractor is seeking a Site Clerk for a long-term housing project in New Ross, Wexford. The ideal candidate should have some construction experience and, preferably, a degree in a construction-related discipline.
Role Responsibilities:
- General site administration
- BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations) administration
- Quality control
- Health & Safety paperwork administration
- Document control for the site management team
- Procurement of site materials and reporting to Head Office for on-site accounts activities
- Maintenance of the site order book and reconciliation of orders with delivery dockets
- Inspection of deliveries where feasible
- Administration of returns in accordance with company policy
- Verification of invoices and dockets prior to submission to Head Office
- Data entry and backup tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience, ideally in construction
- Strong attention to detail and diligence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
