One of Ireland’s most well-established and respected civil contractors is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a new, unstarted residential project in Kilkenny. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company renowned for its commitment to quality and excellence, with long-term work available in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the residential project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage site teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination between all parties involved.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and senior engineers to deliver the project successfully.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any potential issues promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent within the civil engineering or construction sector, ideally with residential projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes, site management, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and resolve challenges effectively.
- Full, clean driving license.
