Setting-Out Engineer
A Setting-Out Engineer required for a Main Building Contractor to work on a apartment project in Dublin.
Duties:
- The setting-out Engineer will execute accurate setting out of construction tasks in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project criteria.
- Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure precise measurement and alignment.
- The setting-out Engineer will work closely with project stakeholders to clarify and apply setting out requirements.
- Uphold high health and safety standards throughout all activities.
- The setting-out Engineer will operate surveying tools, including total stations, GPS, and laser levels, to achieve precise measurements and layouts, while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- 3 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK.
- 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
Benefits:
- Salary circa €65k – €75k
