Setting-out Engineer required for a well-established Tier 2 Main Building Contractor to work on a large scale residential project in North Dublin (€100m+). Our client has an excellent reputation and this project although just started is still in the groundworks stage. Our client has a solid pipeline of great projects of mid-sized value in the Dublin area for the foreseeable future.  Excellent opportunity all around for the Dublin based ambitious engineer who wants to join a contractor of this size who can provide faster progression and more exposure to the overall project.

Requirements:

• 1 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
• Construction/Civil Engineering degree qualified
• Strong Setting-out Experience
• Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Must be willing to travel
• Valid safe-pass.

 Duties:

• Setting-out
• Subcontractor management
• Site supervision of various trades and contractors 
• Maintain strong health and safety standards
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate 
• Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract 
• Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff 

Salary:

• €50k – €60k
• Company Vehicle / Travel
