Setting-Out Engineer

Setting-out Engineer with 1 year experience required for a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor to work on a large scale RC Frame Project in Dublin 8. Our client has an excellent reputation and a robust pipeline of work throughout Ireland for the next 4 years. Excellent opportunity all around, good career prospects, training, professional environment and large scale project exposure.

Requirements:

• 1 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
• Construction/Civil Engineering degree qualified
• Strong Setting-out Experience
• Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Must be willing to travel
• Valid safe-pass.
• Fully conversant with the use of robotic Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.

 Duties:

• Setting-out
• Subcontractor management
• Site supervision of various trades and contractors
• Maintain strong health and safety standards
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
• Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract
• Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff

Salary:

• €50k – €55k
