Setting-Out Engineer
A mid-sized main building contractor is seeking a Setting-Out Engineer to join their team for an exciting high-end residential project in Dublin, starting next month. The successful candidate will be based at this location for nearly two years before moving on to subsequent projects. This role is ideal for a Setting-Out Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience who is interested in joining a reputable contractor with a strong focus on career development. Current projects include hotels, mixed-use developments, and apartments.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of setting-out experience on building projects in Ireland or the UK
- Degree in Engineering
- Proficient in using GPS, total stations, and automatic levels
- Previous experience with main contractors in civils/infrastructure
Duties:
- Setting-out and overseeing groundworks and structural elements
- Managing subcontractors and supervising site operations across trades
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed
- Reviewing site plans and drawings to ensure accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications for work quality and materials
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders
Salary:
- €50k-€60k
