Setting-Out Engineer required for a excellent main building contractor to work on a project in Galway which is just starting. Our client is looking for an Engineer that wants to be based in this region for the next few years as there are several similar projects in the pipeline. We are ideally looking for a Setting-out Engineer with at least 2 years experience on building projects who wants to join a leading company and work under a good senior engineer who will provide good mentorship.
Requirements:
- 2 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK
- Engineering degree qualified
- Strong Setting-out Experience
Duties:
- Setting-out
- Also, subcontractor management
- Site supervision of various trades and contractors
- Maintain strong health and safety standards
- Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
- Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract
- Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff
Salary:
- €45k-€55k
