Structural Engineer with 10 years of experience required to join a leading Irish Engineering Consultancy operating across Ireland and Europe. This consultancy has an outstanding reputation for delivering comprehensive multidisciplinary engineering solutions wide variety of clientele. This opportunity is suitable for a Senior Structural Engineer looking to gain more experience in project and team management.
Responsibilities:
- Diverse Project Experience: Demonstrate proficiency across a wide spectrum of structural engineering projects, with a particular advantage if you have experience in industrial settings such as Pharmaceutical, Food, or Energy projects.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of Engineers and Designers, guiding them in the creation of comprehensive structural packages for tender and construction phases.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with other PM Group offices to understand project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress and maintain control over resource hours dedicated to the structural scope.
Requirements:
- Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Structural Engineering
- 10 years experience working as a Structural Engineer in Consultancy
- Must have experience in the design of reinforced Concrete and Steel to Eurocodes
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials including concrete & steel
- Experience preparing and delivering technical reports.
- Experience managing structural projects.
